10 photography portfolios to inspire
I have gathered a number of photography portfolios together that will impress and stun you all. With some of them, their excellence is not immediately apparent, but if you take a look at their portfolios, you guaranteed to be impressed. Again, this isn’t a collection simply of amazing websites, but also of amazing content! There are some superb photographers on show here, so take the time to look at there work.
Cole Rise
Some instantly impressive pieces here from an amazing photographer.
Thomas Jupe
A individual I am proud to say is a friend of mine. He has an incredible ability for photography and has helped me out a number of times as well as a number of his images being a source of inspiration. Shame his of to Australia for a year, as I’d like to pick his brain, but I guess he’ll take more impressive shots while in Oz.
David Brunetti
A talented photographer, whom I have had the pleasure of meeting. He specialises in portraits, and has done some amazing work with Roma gypsies and individuals involved with the conflict in palestine.
Brent Stirton
A talented individual, using flash to create an inspiring slideshow. I would say his best work can be found in the Photojournalism section.
Jason Bell
This is a nicely made site, again using Flash. As you roll the mouse over different areas of an image it suggests either next or previous. Nice user interface design there. This guy has done some lovely portraits, it would seem with some Hollywood A-listers so his work is clearly appreciated. I particularly like his shots of Mikey Rourke.
Paolo Boccardi
Some impressive photography here, however, I really like the site. Its not built in Flash which is a shocker, and functions beautifully. Why do photographers always hit the flash with there websites aye?!
Graham Smith
The photography portfolio of a logo and graphic designer here. Not just photographers take good shots you know. Some food for thought here!
Jill Greenberg
A well recognised photographer famous for her work with countless celebrities. Some nice portraits here but by far my favourite piece was entitled Glass Ceiling.
Nick Brandt
Some truly awe inspiring photography here! He has done some amazing work with wildlife, some of which you may have already sen. I would defiantly click the link and check this guy out!
Eric Ryan Anderson
This is a nice little site, made in Flash, but would you expect less from a photographers site. The portfolios pieces show off some really nice work but the other pages let the site down, as there not particularly function and, I personally think, just plain ugly!
In the complicated world we live in, it’s good to find simple sloutinos.
